PDIC (or Professional Driver Improvement Course) is a course that has been designed by the Canadian Safety Council. The focus of the course is safe and efficient driving for the transport industry. Originally conceived as a course specifically for the trucking industry, it has grown into a course that is invaluable for anybody who spends most of their time behind the wheel. As with any course, Tach brings this course to your doorstep. We are able to train you or your staff right at your office or at the location of your choice.
The Emergency Services component of the PDIC includes the core components of PDIC combined with specialized sections developed by the Emergency Medical Services branch of Kelsey Trail Health Region. The time, experience and planning that has gone into this portion of the course is immense and it shows. The Emergency Services component includes a practical component as well. This class is ideal for Volunteer services. It outlines not only how to drive safely, but scene approach, vehicle placement, visibility and more. It is a great class to teach and a great class to take.
